Seabrook Island- Part 3

Day on the boat!  We went for a nice boat ride thanks to Blake and went to a small island to look for shells.  Walking along the beach with my kids watching them search for shells reminded me of my childhood.  I always had fun things to do and my family always did everything together on the weekends.  That is my wish for my family.  I know we will always have Seabrook to resort to so that we can have our family time, and hope that we can maintain that as we live in Connecticut.  I want to develop memories and the desire for them to always want to be with us.  I hope they had as much fun as we did this summer.  I love every minute we get to enjoy together.

We always say that being a Colquitt requires that you love the water.  All 3 of my children definitely have that Colquitt trait in them.  They are truly happy.  Alex loved being the Captain.  He loved driving the boat.  Hopefully Blake taught him well.

Uncle Blakey and Lilly!  So funny that Lilly calls him Blakey.  Blake says he only lets a handful of women call him that and of course he is going to let his sweet niece be one.
 My handsome little boy!
Our captain again behind the wheel.

Dee Dee and PaPa with their 3 grandkids.  Hard to get a good shot of all 3 looking.

 Forever together!

Another favorite activity is getting to see the horses by the house.

Chris and I on a rare night out by ourselves.  We went to Chareleston to enjoy a dinner out at Magnolia's.  We had a wonderful evening while Mary and tom watch the kids.

 Attempt at family portrait.

Alex enjoying jumping into the water to Daddy.  We will be swimming soon.
