Every halloween in PA has come with bad weather. The first year here rained, the 2nd was extremely windy and very cold, and the third followed a huge snowstorm in October. Yes, we trick or treated with snow on the ground. This was a first for this southerner, and no I did not like it. I have learned though it is what it is and we will make the most of it.
Julian chose to be spiderman this year. Alex was a little spider ( the same Julian was when he was 2) and Lilly was a little pink octopus.
The pictures didn't turn out very good but here is a the best I got.
The kids figuring out how the trick or treat thing works.

The house after much of the 13 inches of snow has melted. Funny seeing kids trick or treat with snow boots on.
I am so far behind in posting pictures. i don't know where the time has gone. I started back to work on October 11 and feel like there just isn't enough time in the days. Julian has had a busy football schedule and Chris and I have been juggling our work schedules. Work has been great to be back there. I finally found a great job after being home with my kids for the last 4 years. I am going to work part time, and I have really missed being a L&D nurse. I have learned that I loved what I did and that I was really good at it. We have been still figuring out the juggling part, but so far it's going really good. I've got a great babysitter that comes to the house during the week and chris works from home those days and takes over late afternoon. I can also work during the weekend so that they can be total daddy days. Chris is doing great with the kids, and I think it hasn't been a hard transition on them which is good.
Here are some pictures from our trip to the pumpkin patch with my family.
Babies have some fun playing on the playground during the home games. It has been so much fun for all of us to be involved with the football season.
Lilly could swing for hours. It is one of her favorite things to do. We have to beg her to let others have a turn.
The babies watching practice one night.
Alex trying on Julian's helmet. Hoping he'll be our little football player when he gets a little older.
So cute to see Julian all dressed with his pads. I didn't think I would ever enjoy putting my kids in football but it is a lot of fun cheering them on. Julian is having so much fun also. He hates to miss practice and is always eager to go. This was his first year learning the ropes and has come a long way. He is one of the smaller and youngest on the team, but is also one of the hardest working. He gives it his all and really tries his best. We've been so impressed by what a tough little boy he has become.

Many more pictures to follow. Trying to catch up after we've had computer troubles this past month.
Julian's first day of 2nd grade. I can't believe how fast the time has flown. He is growing up before our eyes. And our new hair cut has put a couple of years on him. This year he has a good teacher that we are really excited about and hoping he has a wonderful and memorable 2nd grade.
