Jess's wedding

We've had so much going on over the past couple of weeks.  I have so many pictures that I may have to break these up into events.
The first is that we went to Seabrook Island to help celebrate Jess's wedding to patrick.  I was so happy that this day was here and Jess was starting to get everything she has always wanted and deserved.  It was a wonderful wedding weekend, full of fun activities, and plenty of family around to help us celebrate.  Jess couldn't have looked more beautiful or happy.  It was a great thing to see.  Jess and I have always done everything together and I consider Jess my best friend.  A day is usually not complete until we have talked at least 3 times, or she face times the kids daily.  So, needless to say, standing beside her while she got married was great.  I wish she and Patrick many years of happiness (and kids soon I hope!!!:)  I can't wait to spoil her kids just like she's done with mine.

 Alex getting dressed in his "suit like daddy".  He felt so special getting all dressed up like the big boys.  With all my planning and getting ready for the trip and packing my clothes and all 3 kids, I did leave behind 1 key ingredient to this outfit:  His dressy black shoes.  They were not in the bag when I went to get them to leave for the wedding.  So, Alex wore his black Keen sandals, which looked perfect for this beach side wedding.  I guess if I left anything, I picked the right thing to leave.

Starting our new life in CT

 Here are a couple pictures from our new life and home in Connecticut.  We are loving being near my parents and brother.  People that have family near by tend to take it for granted, but we know what a special thing it is and love that my kids finally have family nearby.

 DeeDee and I took the kids and dogs down by the river of East Haddam.  It really is beautiful.  and the kids love being by the water.

 I love this picture of the kids looking at the water. Alex has his arm on Lilly.  They really have a love/ hate relationship.  I don't think he would know what to do without Lilly, and Julian is the one they always look up to.

Bye Bye PA

 Even though we were excited about this move for the opportunity to be with family, moving is still extremely hard for everyone.  You think I would be an expert at this by now, and do have it down pretty good, but it takes lots of work.  The movers and commented about how clean and organized everything was, but I learned how it has to be so it goes in smooth to the new house.  I didn't quite get to to do everything last time with the move since I had just delivered premature twins and was in another country than our stuff, but had tried to do as much as I could before I left.  This time I wanted it done perfect.  We enlisted the help or our babysitter for the past year to keep the twins busy while Julian was at school, which helped a lot.  They even played with their stuff to the bitter end.   The twins handled loading up their toys better than expected.  We think they had a pretty good grasp on what was going on and where we were going.  Of course, with the promise that we were going to see Dee Dee and PaPa, made most things easier.

 So, we add another house and location to the places we've been.  We did have many great memories in this house.

Our last week in PA

 Our last week in PA was packed full of activities and getting last minute things done before the move.  The twins had their last week at their preschool that they have been going to since we moved to PA.  Advent Speech and Feeding had been part of our life from the very beginning in PA.  They helped us through many ups and downs with them, especially with Lilly's eating, and then progressed to their speech development.  They have come so far since they were born, and many people have contributed to getting them to this point.  It was sad to see leave Advent for the last time.  I always new they were there if we needed anything.  We will always remember all of our special teachers- CareyAnne, Tonya, Jenna, Susan, Melinda, Tonya, and Rachel.  Thank you.

 We also had Julian's baseball games to attend before we left.  We always had so much fun watching Julian play sports and getting to interact with all his friends.  The thing I liked most about Easton, was Julian's school.  It was a very small, close nit school, where everyone knew everyone.  Julian played sports with the same group of boys for everything.  I always knew someone was looking out for him and they all knew us.  Julian was enjoying his season and was progressing so well.  This was the first season out of T-ball, and the coaches and kids pitched and Julian was getting so good.  The last week, he went 3 for 4 and 2 for 3 in hits both games.  Chris and I couldn't have been more proud.  Nothing makes a parent more happy than to see their child having fun and doing well at something.
