winter Days

We have had many cold days in Connecticut this winter and trying to entertain everyone is always a challenge.  We are all going to be house crazy by spring time.  We have had plenty of days with plenty of movies, playing with new christmas toys, and braving the COLD connecticut days.
Daddy put together legos one day.  It says 8 year olds can do that, but seriously doubt it.  As you can see too, we have several pieces left over.
We babysat Dooley while Dee Dee and PaPa went to SC.  Lilly and Alex were trying to help and told me they fed Dooley for me.  I don't know if colored goldfish were on the doggie menu.

Another favorite activity we've had since Christmas is our new bouncy house.  We have put it in the garage and have space heaters out there so we can tolerate the garage to allow the kids to get some much needed energy out.  They love their new present from Dee Dee and PaPa.  This is going to get some many hours logged onto it when the weather is nice.  Great Christmas present.

Loving on Dooley who wishes Dee Dee and Papa will hurry home!

 Twin love!

One of our heaviest snow falls and it wasn't done yet.  After Christmas we got about 11 inches of snow.  (And happened to be when mommy and Julian were in Atlanta to visit our family in Georgia)

Alex and Lilly taking a peek at the snowfall from the night.

Bundling up to brave the cold day.

Little hard for my little lilly to walk.

Alex is the little helper trying to shovel all this snow from the driveway.

Lilly was done with the cold and went to the playroom window to watch and stay warm.

The drive way is done until the snow plow does the road and add to the end of the driveway.  Not done yet daddy, and no you can't have a snowblower.

New Year's Eve at almost midnight.  Chris and I had been out to dinner for his birthday and came home to watch the festivities on TV with our big boy who wanted to stay up til midnight for the first time.  Julian made it to 12 and think he was asleep about 4 minutes later.

Another snowfall, (not as much this time, and not as cold since kids don't have on jackets- I think your body temperature does adjust a little to the north)
