Now, Christmas time

My favorite holiday from the entire year is Christmas.  I love the decorations, the music, the good feeling it gives you.  Once again, I have my helper with the tree, Lilly, she helps me do the pre fluff to get it ready for the ornaments.  We always have the music playing when we do this and I love it.

This the kids favorite part, they love getting to stand on the ladder and to put the ornaments on the tree.  They do a pretty good job, I just have to end up spreading them out a little bit because they tend to be bundled in one spot on the tree.

The stocking are hung by the chimney.

 The tree is done!
It's been very cold up here in Connecticut.  The kids are getting all dressed up to go to school, with all the extras to keep them warm.
Trying to get a picture of my 3 kids is tough.
Love this picture of my 2 boys.
It's been a busy time, and this is Chris's company's kids christmas party.  Santa was there to see the kids and they go to tell him what they hopped for this year.  They all did go see him, and talk.  Lilly is a little shy which is funny becuase she is such a talker.  She won't crack a smile for us with Santa.

One of our snow falls as to yet.  It is pretty but really cold, and not too much fun to get outside in.

At home one morning with my babies.

Dee Dee and I with the kids in Essex one day while Julian was at school.  They were feeding the ducks and having a good time on this cold day.

We are watching the dogs for mom, and Charley sitting on the couch with Julian hoping for a treat.

 What Santa left for Alex

 What Santa left for Julian

Julian waking up for Christmas morning.  He got up first, bright and early and we had Dee Dee and PaPa already there bright and early so they could be there to see this special time.  I remember when my grandparents would be at our house before we woke up on Christmas to see what we had gotten from santa and to see our expressions.  So happy that we are close enough to my parents that they can share in these memories as well.

Alex was the next one to wake up,

Then we went to get up our late sleeper.  I have learned to let her wake up on her own next year.  She needed time to wake up before she was ready to go and see her gifts.  She is slow to wake up and not even the thought of Santa presents could speed that up.

She's finally waking a little and perking up.

Lilly and her Dora Doll house

The kids opening their new bounce house from DeeDee and papa.  It was really a hit.

Alex snuck away from the present openings to sit by the sausage balls.  He loves to eat, which makes me happy.

Just a little snow to wake up with on Christmas morning
